September 21, Governor Lingle will discuss state issues in her afternoon drive-time radio show with host Mike Buck from 5:05 - 6:00 p.m. HST. The show can be heard live statewide: Hilo (The Beach, KTBH 102.1 FM), Maui (KAOI 1110 AM), Kaua`i (KQNG 570 AM), and O`ahu (KHVH 830 AM), as well as on the Governor's Web site www.hawaii.gov/gov. September 22, Governor Lingle will host the sixth annual International Women's Leadership Conference. The one-day conference will feature top women leaders from eight nations (Australia, Canada, China, Israel, Liberia, Philippines, United Kingdom and United States) who will share their personal and professional stories of success and inspiration with close to 1,000 delegates.
September 23, The Governor will deliver remarks at the Sacred Hearts Academy's annual scholarship fund gala to raise funds for students who otherwise could not attend the academy.
September 25, Governor Lingle will attend the change of command ceremony as Adm. Patrick M. Walsh becomes commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet. Adm. Walsh replaces Adm. Robert F. Willard, who will become commander of the U.S. Pacific Command, succeeding Navy Adm. Timothy J. Keating.
September 26, The Governor will deliver remarks at the 25th annual Hawai`i Seniors Fair.
