September 7, HOLIDAY – LABOR DAY

September 8, Rear Admiral Douglas J. McAneny, Submarine Force commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet, will present a photo of the USS Hawaii to Governor Lingle, the ship's sponsor.

September 9, Governor Lingle will deliver remarks at the 2009 Hawai`i Business Top 250 Luncheon, honoring Hawai`i's outstanding businesses for their role in sustaining the state's economy, creating jobs and providing services and products to the people of Hawai`i.

September 10, The Governor will attend the investiture ceremony of the 2009 Aloha Festivals Royal Court, during which the Ali`i receive their royal symbols of reign.

September 10, Governor Lingle will deliver the keynote address at the monthly membership meeting of the Honolulu Association of Insurance Professionals.
