At the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) 36th Annual Recognition Luncheon, Governor Lingle recognized exceptional volunteers, 55 years and older, who contribute to the community through their time, talents, wisdom, skills and experience.
08/21/2008 - Economic Report Shows Bright Outlook
In all corners of the state and across the country, the economy is top of mind. Following the Governor's remarks last week outlining immediate steps and long-term initiatives to bolster Hawai`i's current economic conditions, the State Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism (DBEDT) released an economic report predicting continued growth in Hawai`i's economy for this year and next.
