GOVERNOR LINGLE ORDERS STATE FLAGS TO FLY AT HALF-STAFF IN HONOR OF FORMER STATE REPRESENTATIVE ROBERT C. OSHIRO

HONOLULU – Governor Linda Lingle has ordered state flags at all state and county buildings to be flown at half-staff on Monday, February 25, 2008, from sunrise until sunset in honor of former State Representative Robert C. Oshiro. A private burial will be held that day.
Oshiro, who passed away on Feb. 12, was elected to the House of Representatives in 1959, representing Wahiawā, Waialua and Kawailoa. He served in the Legislature for 11 years from 1959 to 1970.
