Today, Governor Lingle held a news conference to update the public on the progress of the Hawai`i Clean Energy Initiative, a partnership between the State of Hawai`i and the U.S. Department of Energy to have 70 percent of Hawai`i's energy come from clean sources by 2030.

The Governor also recognized Hawai`i's Outstanding Advocates for Children and Youth.
