Hawai`i's robust economy has added 53,700 new jobs over the past four years, and has given our state one of the lowest unemployment rates in the nation for the past two years. To help jobseekers and employers, the State has launched HireNet Hawai`i. This free, one-stop employment matching system offers access to job listings, job candidates, resume development and employment services. To learn more about HireNet Hawai`i, visit hawaii.gov/labor.  Another State initiative, SEE Hawai`i Work, provides work opportunities for individuals on government financial assistance, while reimbursing employers for most of an employee's wages in exchange for on-the-job training and potential employment. To date, SEE has placed 300 people in job training programs, and 70 have found permanent employment.  Visit seehawaiiwork.org for more information.
