Food Self-Sufficiency
Governor Linda Lingle's State-of-the-State address, included initiatives to increase the State's food self-sufficiency. Hawai`i imports approximately 85% of food consumed in the state. HDOA and other collaborating institutions are working to help increase our food self-sufficiency.
