Japan-based Sun Globe Food is a Seal of Quality partner, one of two program partners that have been with the program since its inception.

“The quality certification system under the state of Hawaii is well thought of by high-end clients, such as hotels and restaurants,” says Yoshikuni Anzai. He notes that the Seal of Quality assures his customers that his products are of the highest quality.

Founded in 1978, Sun Globe Food employs 12 people and promotes Hawaii-grown products in Japan. According to the company, the Hawaiian Islands enjoy a positive image in Japan, and Japanese customers like to save their Hawaii keepsakes.

The company offers brightly-colored anthuriums, which are available for retail or wholesale.
