How agricultural lot leases are awarded
Applications are reviewed and evaluated based on:
a) Minimum qualification;
b) Agricultural experience;
c) Financial capability;
d) Preference status (displaced farmer, new farmer, located in nonconforming use district, veteran)
Although the selection method may vary from project to project, usually all applicants meeting the qualifications will be allowed to participate in drawing numbers or applicant's name to determine the order of lot selection.
