USDA CONFIRMS THAT NO RECALLED BEEF DISTRIBUTED TO HAWAII
HONOLULU - The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) today confirmed that none of the recalled beef relating to the Mad Cow Disease incident in Washington State was sent to Hawaii and Guam.
FSIS confirmed this morning that after further investigation, it determined that information released on Sunday, December 28, that Hawaii had received recalled beef was incorrect.
