SECOND COMMUNITY MEETING SCHEDULED TO DISCUSS MOLOKA`I IRRIGATION SYSTEM

What: The Hawai`i Department of Agriculture (HDOA) will be holding the second in a series of meetings to discuss issues involving management and services of the Moloka`i Irrigation System (MIS).
The meeting will recap information from the August 18th meeting, discuss maintaining and supporting the MIS infrastructure to ensure the integrity of the system, and discuss the HDOA and MIS Water Users Advisory Board working agreement. A third meeting will be held in October.

Hard copies of the notes are also available at the MIS Office, DHHL, OHA, CTAHR and Queen Liliuokalani Children’s Center.
Who: The Moloka`i community is welcome and encouraged to attend. Representatives from HDOA and members of the Moloka`i Irrigation System Water Users Advisory Board will also be present.
