Nominations for 2002 Outstanding Older Worker and Outstanding Employer of Older Workers sought

The State of Hawaii’s Executive Office on Aging and Experience Works are looking for Hawaii’s Outstanding Older Worker and Outstanding Employer of Older Workers for 2002. They are also searching for Hawaii’s "Oldest Worker".

Experience Works (formerly known as Green Thumb) is America’s leader in older-worker training and employment and is funded under Title V of the Older Americans Act.

The winners will be honored during the Fifth Annual Experience Works Prime Time Awards this September in Washington, D.C. The nation’s premier older worker recognition initiative, the program highlights the valuable contributions older Americans make to their communities and place of work.

Nomination submission deadline is May 3, 2002 and Experience Works will announce the winners on September 4th at the 2002 Prime Time Awards. Information on the selection criteria and applications found at www.experienceworks.org or by calling the Executive Office on Aging at (808) 586-0100.
