Correction to State Health Ranking

HONOLULU – The Hawaii State Department of Health was informed by the United Health Foundation today, that there is an error within the annual America’s Health: State Health Rankings report.

Hawaii is listed as being 13^th overall last year (2002), when in fact the State was ranked 14^th.

The United Health Foundation partners with the American Public Health Association (APHA) and Partnership for Prevention each year to release this report. Data is supplied by sources such as the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, National Safety Council, U.S. Department of Education, and U.S. Department of Labor.
