The design criteria for this project, was to upgrade the existing
parking area and restroom to meet ADA requirements and to integrate the changes
seamlessly into the original architecture, structure and landscape design.
Project objectives included:
• Establish a van accessible parking area
• Establish accessible routes to the restrooms without impacting
existing narrow walkway
and exit way
• Increase accessible space inside restroom to allow wheelchair
access
• Meet all
restroom requirements for barrier-free usage
