DCAB currently employees 18 staff members in a centralized office on Oahu. The staff work is divided into units, based on area of expertise:

- Facility Access
- Special Parent Information Network
- Administrative Services
The DCAB staff was awarded the 1999 Team Excellence Award for its work related to State compliance to the ADA.
