This
site was created to support self-advocates and their communities to
participate in Statewide personal assistance service systems change,
promoting consumer-directed service models through community councils
and customized training and technical assistance. It is being implemented
through the Community Personal Assistance Services and Support (CPASS)
Grant funded by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
The grant is administered through the Center on Disability Studies at
the University of Hawaii in partnership with staff from the Developmental
Disabilities Division, Case Management and Information Services Branch.
