The Genetics Program is under the supervision of the Children with Special Health Needs Branch.

The Genetics Program:

  • Provides information and education about topics in genetics.
  • Administers grants related to genetics.
  • Coordinates genetics activities.
  • Supports clinical genetic services.
  • Does research on clinical and public health genetics topics.
  • Develops public policy surrounding genetics.
  • Offers technical assistance.
