The Genetics Program is under the supervision of the Children with Special Health Needs Branch.
The Genetics Program:
- Provides information and education about topics in genetics.
- Administers grants related to genetics.
- Coordinates genetics activities.
- Supports clinical genetic services.
- Does research on clinical and public health genetics topics.
- Develops public policy surrounding genetics.
- Offers technical assistance.
