Who is eligible to receive Vaccines For Children (VFC) vaccine?

Children birth through 18 years of age who have no health insurance (uninsured), are underinsured (have health insurance that does not include vaccinations), are enrolled in Medicaid (Quest), are American Indian or Alaskan Native are eligible to receive VFC vaccine.

Can my child receive VFC vaccine if we have health insurance but it does not cover immunizations?

Children who are underinsured are eligible to receive VFC vaccine only at a Rural Health Center (RHC) or Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). FQHCs and RHCs in the State of Hawaii include:

City and County of Honolulu

Kalihi Palama Health Center
Kokua Kalihi Valley
Waikiki Health Center
Waimanalo Health Center
Waianae Cost Comprehensive Health Center, all clinics including Kapolei Health Care Center

Kauai County:
