MCHB • Perinatal Support Program
The Perinatal Support Program provides resources for women that have difficulty in obtaining or maintaining health services in pregnancy. The goal for the Perinatal Support Program is to promote health education, best practices and resources for healthly pregnancies in Hawaii. The objectives of the program is to lower the rates of: low birth weight infants, infant diseases and death, late prenatal care, births to teens, risk to older women, and women with pre-existing health problems.

This program cares for pregnant women before, during, and after pregnancy (up to 28 days after birth). Please call our program if you are a pregnant woman who is uninsured, under 20 years old, over 35 years old, a smoker, use alcohol or an illegal drug, are homeless, an immigrant, or a single parent.
