Although collaboration and support are key to the dynamics of the injury prevention movement in Hawai‘i, the foundation is information. The Injury Prevention and Control Program (IPCP) provides resources and support services to injury prevention specialists and the interested public at-large (1) by providing technical support and training as needed and (2) by collecting, analyzing, and disseminating injury-related data. In addition to describing these features on its web site, the IPCP has made available reports, fact sheets and other publications. It has also created and posted lists of resources available on the World Wide Web to support injury prevention researchers, practitioners, and those with a general interest in the area.
