The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Division (CAMHD) Strategic Plan represents a substantial
effort by the CAMHD Management Team, CAMHD Staff, Hawaii Family
as Allies (HFAA), Community Children's Councils (CCC), Contracted
Provider Agencies, and the State Mental Health Council.
By engaging broadly with stakeholders, CAMHD has developed a plan that is reflective of the
input and efforts of many individuals and agencies across the State. In the development of
this plan, input was obtained from all child serving entities, community organizations,
provider agencies, legislative representatives, and family members. This input has served
as the foundation for the development of CAMHD priority areas and key strategic initiatives.
This plan identifies strategies to meet goals and outlines expectations for periodic review
of the objective measures. The CAMHD Management Team will provide routine feedback to
stakeholders regarding the implementation efforts as outlined in this plan.
