The chart below shows the percentage of employees in the Executive Branch who are represented by public exclusive representatives:

• Hawai`i Government Employees Association (HGEA) - Represents white-collar supervisors and employees, professional and scientific employees and registered professional nurses.

• United Public Workers (UPW) - Represents blue-collar and trades employees and institutional, health and correctional workers.

• Hawai`i Fire Fighters Association (HFFA) - Represents fire fighters at the State’s airports.
  

Employees of the personnel system administered by DHRD as of June 2004; excludes employees in the personnel systems of the University of Hawai`i, Department of Education, and Hawai`i Health Systems Corporation.
