Document Delivery | Hawai‘i Legislative History Service | Costs | Payment
The library will mail, pdf and fax copies of Supreme Court Law Library materials as permitted by the "fair use" provision of the Copyright Act. The libraries reserve the right to refuse to accept a copying request if, in their judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of U.S. Copyright Law. The maximum number of pages per requester per day is 50. The maximum number of pages for a rush pdf or fax order request is 25. Service hours are 7:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m., Monday through Friday, except Hawai‘i State holidays. Request and proof of pre-payment must be received by noon (12 p.m.) HST for same day rush service.

The library will assist in Hawaii Legislative History research by pulling and marking acts and committee reports from Session Laws of Hawaii and the House and Senate Journals. An exact Hawaii Revised Statute (HRS) chapter and section and/or Act # and year must be provided. Payment for service must be made in-person or received via mail before requestor will be allowed access to the pulled and marked materials. Acts and committee reports can also be copied and delivered, however, additional document delivery charges will apply. Service hours are 7:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m., Monday through Friday, except Hawai‘i State holidays. Request and proof of pre-payment must be received by noon (12 p.m.) HST for same day rush service.
