OCS assists Hawaii’s low-income, immigrant and refugee populations to overcome and eliminate workforce barriers to economic self-sufficiency via an array of community-based programs and services. OCS primarily contracts and administers program services on behalf of the State and Federal governments. OCS is responsible for allocating funds via a competitive purchase of services process unless the funding source authority directs award to a specific organization(s).

The Micronesian Seminar is a private, nonprofit, non-governmental organization that provides community education for the people of Micronesia. This site offers many resources including articles, publications, videos, and photos on a variety of Micronesian topics. Visit it here.
  • The Pacific Digital Library (PDL) Project

    An innovative project designed to collect reliable and accessible information in the US-affiliated Pacific Island (USAPI) jurisdictions of American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), Guam, the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI), and the Republic of Palau is underway.  This library of reliable resources enables regional governments, educators, students, and citizens to have access to local publications, documents, archives, and other information to make better decisions.  Learn more about it here at pacificdigitallibrary.org
