Protection and Advocacy for Persons with Disabilities Program (LBR 903-15)

OCS seeks to purchase services to protect and advocate for human, civil and legal rights of persons with disabilities. OCS is requesting competitive proposals from qualified applicants to contract client services that permit persons with disabilities to: exhibit self-determination by making their own choices, select the service agency and services they receive, and demonstrate self confidence and competence; gain equitable access to programs, services, jobs, transportation, housing and public facilities; be free from physical and psychological abuse and neglect; and live free, independent, productive lives; work, experience personal growth, and contribute to society; and be accepted as well as recognized for their skills by their own communities.
