PREPAID HEALTH CARE ADVISORY COUNCIL MEMBERS
Dr. Mark Stitham has been a member of the Hawaii Prepaid Health Care Advisory
Council since June 2003. Dr. Stitham graduated from Dartmouth College, Magna
Cum Laude and then received his M.D. from Washington University in St. Louis.
He did his adult psychiatric residency training in his home state of Maine
before coming to Hawaii in 1979 for a child psychiatric fellowship. He has
a private practice in Kailua.
Dr. Stitham was elected to be a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association
in 1991 and was a past President of the Hawaii Psychiatric Medical Association.
He is Board Certified in Adult, Child and Forensic Psychiatry. His wife,
Margaret, is the Iolani School nurse and they have two daughters. Dr. Stitham
is an avid actor having appeared on many Oahu stages as well as episodic
television series filmed here.
