ORDER REMANDING CASE FOR FURTHER PROCEEDINGS
ON BACK PAY AND FRONT PAY

The case is hereby remanded sua sponte for further proceedings
limited to the amounts of back pay and front pay that complainant is
entitled to receive in accordance with the Findings of Fact and
Conclusions of Law and Recommended Decision, filed on May 28, 1999,
and the Supplemental Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law and
Recommended Decision, filed on November 29, 1999. The front pay
determination should: 1) list the yearly differentials between
Complainant's projected earnings as a first officer with a national
airline and his projected earnings as a first officer with
Respondent Aloha Islandair, Inc., if he were hired in accordance
with the recommended decisions; and 2) calculate the present value
of the total amount of such differentials.
The proceedings should be conducted as expeditiously as may be
required for the full and true disclosure of the any relevant facts.
The Hearings Examiner shall file amended findings of fact,
conclusions of law, and a recommended decision consistent with this
order.
