1997, that the Director of Health is requested to appoint a task
force to make an assessment of the air quality at Campbell
Industrial Park and the air quality impacts of emission sources in
this location; and
force include representatives of the Department of Health,
representatives of the residents / tenants of Campbell Industrial
Park and Kahe Point, representatives of the neighborhood boards for
the area, a member of the Senate appointed by the President of the
Senate, and a member of the House of Representatives appointed by
the Speaker of the House of Representatives; and
cooperation with other organizations in Campbell Industrial Park, is
requested to make its best effort to raise funds sufficient to
retain an independent consultant or consultants to assist the task
force in making an assessment of emissions control requirements in
and
consultant retained be a member of the task force; and
have experience in managing programs to measure air quality and
modeling the dispersion of emissions from various industrial
sources; and
consultants be:
Department of Health;
reductions where necessary;
force for review; and
Health regarding the efficacy of establishing an emissions
reduction credit banking and trading program in improving
the quality of the environment; and
referred to in this Resolution be submitted to the Legislature prior

feasibility of relocating the US Institute of Peace to Hawaii; and
