TITLE RELATING TO MOTORSPORTS INSURANCE.

DESCRIPT Establishes provision relating to waiver of liability in a
motorsports event to exclude the areas intended for use by
spectators or non participants from the definition of motorsports
facility, and spectator from the definition of participant.
Provides that a participant is a person 18 years of age or older who
is required to sign a waiver and release, waiver of liability, or
indemnity agreement. Adds definitions of motorsports facility,
owner, and participant. Requires that signing of a waiver and
release, waiver of liability, or indemnity agreement by a
participant and a witness in any motorsports racing event shall be
construed as an express assumption of risk. Provides exception to
waiver when acts or omissions constitute gross negligence, wilful
and wanton conduct, or intentional acts on the part of another
participant or employees or agents of the motorsports facility.
Provides exception to waiver if a motorsports facility has a general
liability policy of no less than 1 million dollars for spectators

foreign bodies from the eye and the eyelids. Provides criteria.

by requiring completion of 100 hours of preceptorship under the
supervision of an ophthamologist as part of the certification

accrued liability contributions to require the actuary, commencing
with the 1995 fiscal year, to determine the total unfunded accrued
liability using the entry age normal cost funding method separately
for police officers, firefighters, and corrections officers, and for
