Deadline for public comment
The deadline is Wednesday to comment on the six judicial nominees for the second highest court in the state. Within a month, one of the nominees will be selected as chief judge of the Intermediate Court of Appeals. Comments can be faxed to (808) 586-0006, or e-mailed to Governor.lingle@hawaii.gov.
Here are the nominees:

Katherine G. Leonard, an associate judge in the Intermediate Court of Appeals, who used to be an attorney in the law firm Carlsmith Ball LLP.

Sabrina S. McKenna, a First Circuit Court Judge and former associate in the law firm Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel.

Craig H. Nakamura, associate judge of the Intermediate Court of Appeals and former associate with the law firm Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel.

Steven M. Nakashima, a partner in the law firm Marr, Hipp Jones & Pepper.

Michael K. Tanigawa, staff attorney in the Intermediate Court of Appeals.

Frances Q.F. Wong, a First Circuit Court Judge.
