Lt. Governor Aiona's Public Schedule

NOVEMBER 9, Lt. Governor Aiona delivers remarks on how to best respond to the threat of terrorism and natural disasters in the Asia-Pacific region. The conference will focus on present and future capabilities needed to protect population centers in the region.
   
NOVEMBER 9, The Lt. Governor will welcome a delegation from Okinawa, including Governor Hirokazu Nakaima, to discuss international issues. Media RSVP required.

NOVEMBER 9, Lt. Governor Aiona addresses a variety of state issues on his weekly call-in radio show with KHVH 830 AM host Mike Buck. To participate, listeners can call (808) 521-8383 from O`ahu. The show will be streamed live on the Lt. Governor’s web site at www.hawaii.gov/ltgov.

NOVEMBER 10, During the Read Aloud America program on Maui, Lt. Governor Aiona delivers remarks on the importance of reading to children – in the classroom and at home – on a regular basis to increase their prospects for success in school and life. The Lt. Governor has been involved in the program for the last five years.
