Today, Lt. Governor Aiona participates in the groundbreaking ceremony for the East-West Road in Kapolei, where it will provide access to future development such as the multi-million dollar Joan Kroc Corps Community Center.

Lt. Governor Aiona said the groundbreaking for the East-West Road and land blessing for the Kroc Community Center represent a unique public-private partnership of the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands and the Salvation Army.

"The two groups have come together for a shared purpose: to make the most positive impact on the West O`ahu community in a way that will continue to benefit future generations," Lt. Governor Aiona said.
