Today, Lt. Governor Aiona attends the Maui Veterans Council monthly meeting.
As part of the visit, the Lt. Governor will discuss planned improvements to the Nisei Veterans Memorial Center on Maui, and present a $750,000 check for the construction of an educational center.
The funding will help pay for the final phase of the project, which will serve as a statewide archive for the veterans group.
