This week, Lt. Governor Aiona said in a radio address that Hawai`i students will join their peers from the mainland in a 37-team regional robotics competition on March 27.
"Hawai`i high school robotics teams are using imagination, ingenuity and problem-solving skills to build robots, solve an engineering challenge and, most importantly, have fun while learning," Lt. Governor Aiona said.
"The success of these students would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of volunteers," Lt. Governor Aiona said. "Working side-by-side with mentors from engineering fields, supported by math and science teachers in our schools and cheered on by parents and community supporters, Hawai`i's students have a unique opportunity to shape their own future, and the future of our state."
