January 23 - The
Lt. Governor joined Governor Lingle, Budget & Finance Director Georgina
Kawamura, and Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) Chairman Micah Kane
at the department's office groundbreaking. DHHL will be the first state
department to be headquartered in the second city of Kapolei. Construction
is expected to be completed in 2008.
