INNOVATION INITIATIVES DISCUSSED AT KAILUA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
January 24 - "To
sustain the economy of Hawai`i, we need to develop the skills of residents
and students in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and
mathematics so that we can compete with other states and the world," said
Lt. Governor Aiona at the Kailua Chamber of Commerce's monthly meeting. The
Lt. Governor discussed the five components necessary to transform Hawai`i's
economy through innovation in education,
the economy, workforce
development, linking Hawai`i to the global
economy, and state government.
