PI`IKOI VISTA OFFERS AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR SENIORS

February 14 - The Lt. Governor joined Hawai`i Housing Finance Development Corporation (HHFDC) Executive Director Dan Davidson at the dedication ceremony of the Pi`ikoi Vista Senior Affordable Apartments in Makiki.  "This shows Hawai`i residents that we will address the issue of housing, and will get it done," said Lt. Governor Aiona. The project, which cost $8,812,243 to build, was developed by the Hawai`i Housing Development Corporation (HHDC), with financing resources from the HHFDC, the City and County of Honolulu and private organizations. Pi`ikoi Vista, which is HHDC's seventh project utilizing the state's Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, consists of 47 rental units targeted to meet the needs of seniors earning at or below 50 percent of Honolulu's median income.
