LUNCHEON RECOGNIZES FOSTER CARE STUDENTS

June 15 - Lt. Governor Aiona joined Human Services Director Lillian Koller at the Educational Achievement Luncheon hosted by the Department of Services, which recognized foster care students who have completed high school.

“Graduating from high school is your crowning jewel in your life,” said Lt. Governor Aiona. “No one can take away the knowledge that you have gained.”

The luncheon acknowledged the hard work and perseverance of youth in foster care, who have often struggled through many difficulties.
