STATE RECOGNIZES JAPANESE CHAMBER'S COMMITMENT TO HAWAI'I ECONOMY
July 14- Lt. Governor Aiona
acknowledged the Japanese Chamber of Commerce's role in shaping the state's
healthy economy, where the business organization has established a presence
for more than a century.
In presenting the group with a commendation he
co-signed with Gov. Lingle, he praised its new leadership during the
2007 installation banquet and general membership meeting at the Hilton
Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa.
"We appreciate the Chamber's continued efforts to
strengthen and integrate economic development, government affairs and
international relations," Lt. Governor Aiona said.
