ADMINISTRATION'S TOP OFFICIALS TOUR SUPERFERRY
July 18- Lt. Governor Aiona
today joined Gov. Lingle and members of the Administration's cabinet on
a private tour of the Hawai'i Superferry Alakai.
The company's interisland service is set to begin this
summer, when the ferry's catamaran will daily serve O`ahu, Kaua`i and
Maui.
Plans call for the service to be expanded to the Big
Island by 2009.
Lt. Governor Aiona expects commuters to embrace the
service. "It's really going to be a family experience," Lt. Governor Aiona
said. "I see it as three hours of family bonding."
