GOVERNOR LINGLE INVITES PUBLIC TO JOIN LINGLE-AIONA ADMINISTRATION

HONOLULU – In keeping with her commitment to attract and select the best
candidates for public service, Governor Linda Lingle is currently looking
for individuals who want to make a difference in the State of Hawai`i by
serving in the Lingle-Aiona Administration.
“I’ve been in public service for 25 years, and have always believed it’s an honor to serve the public,” said Governor Lingle. “I know there are many people in the community who would be interested in making a difference in improving the quality of life for all the people of Hawai`i,” she added. “Everyone should be involved in public service at some point in their lives, whether as a career or as a volunteer serving on a board or commission. Lt. Governor Aiona and I invite people across our state, regardless of party affiliation, to apply for a position within our administration.”
Both full-time and volunteer openings are available at all levels of state government, including departments, attached agencies, and boards and commissions. Anyone who is highly motivated, qualified in a specific field, and has a strong desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives is encouraged to apply.
