Lt. Governor Aiona's Public Schedule
OCT. 3, Lt. Governor Aiona participates in deployment ceremony for troops with the 25th Infantry Division.
OCT. 4, Lt. Governor Aiona opens a two-day cultural festival and tradeshow called Splendor of China. The event is jointly sponsored by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawai‘i and the state Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism.
OCT. 6, Lt. Governor Aiona discusses the importance of a constitutional convention or con con on the Office of Hawaiian Affairs’ morning radio talk show. The discussion can be heard live on KKNE 940 AM.
OCT. 6, Lt. Governor Aiona discusses state issues on his weekly radio show with KHVH 830 AM host Mike Buck. Listeners with questions and comments are invited to call (808) 521-8383. The show will be webcast live on the Lt. Governor’s web site at www.hawaii.gov/ltgov.
OCT. 7, The Lt. Governor addresses the Hawai‘i Hispanic Achievement Awards. The event aims to recognize important contributions of Hispanics to the state.
OCT. 8, Lt. Governor Aiona presents U.S. Department of Commerce export achievement certificates to Hawai‘i companies that have developed global opportunities and increased their exports of Hawai‘i products.
OCT. 8, The Lt. Governor speaks to the Filipino Chamber of Commerce.
OCT. 9, Lt. Governor Aiona opens the 2008 Hawai‘i Physical Activity and Nutrition Forum.
OCT. 10, Lt. Governor Aiona addresses the Rotary Club of Pearl Ridge.
