A thriving early childhood workforce is essential to expanding preschool access across our state. With a new dedicated Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, it’s now easier for future teachers to enter the field—benefiting our keiki, their ʻohana, and our communities.

Mahalo to @uhmanoacoe for recognizing this need and investing in the next generation of preschool educators!

It was such a pleasure visiting Kamuela on Big Island for the 32nd Annual Waimea Cherry Blossom Heritage Festival. Always love seeing our neighbors come together to celebrate traditions embedded in our unique local culture.

Looking forward to see these blossoms continue to bloom! 🌸

I had the chance to host over 50 members and leaders of ILWU Local 142 — one of Hawai‘i’s largest and most steadfast labor unions, advocating for working families for decades.

It’s more important than ever we push for wage equality, affordable housing, and a future where every family in our state can thrive. Mahalo nui to ILWU for all that you do!

Grateful to stand alongside the Governor and state leaders at my third State of the State. Together, we share a deep commitment to strengthening our communities and addressing Hawaiʻi’s cost of living — ensuring local families can continue to call our islands home.

I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together so far and remain dedicated to the important work ahead.
