Application of Sunshine Law to 2011 Reapportionment Commission

Requester sought an advisory opinion on whether the 2011 Reapportionment Commission is subject to the Sunshine Law.

OIP found that the 2011 Reapportionment Commission is a “board” as defined in the Sunshine Law, and that no exemption to the Sunshine Law applies to it, and as such the 2011 Reapportionment Commission is subject to the Sunshine Law.
