A Walk Through the Gallery

Individual Artist Fellowship: Selected Works by
IAF Recipients 1995 - 2008
September 3, 2010 - July 16, 2011

This exhibition featured work by recipients of the Individual Artist Fellowship Awards, a prestigious award presented by the Hawai‘i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts every two years. As many of the visual artists have work represented in the HSFCA’s Art in Public Places Collection, one work was chosen from the collection and one or two pieces were selected through studio visits. The show allows artists to display works, most created post-fellowship, alongside pieces produced earlier in their career, illustrating how the award helped to develop their body of work.
