If you
are an accomplished artist or an
arts organization that exemplifies
artistic excellence in dance,
music, drama, literary arts, or
visual arts, as well as excellence
in the engagement of students in
the creative process, you may
qualify as an Artistic
Teaching Partner (ATP) with
the HSFCA Arts Education
Program. The ATP
Roster is an adjudicated
directory of Hawaii professional
teaching artists qualified to
conduct in-depth residencies in
educational settings.Schools
applying for an Artists in the
Schools (AITS) grant are required to
use a teaching artist from this
roster.
Artistic
Teaching Partners are eligible to
present standards-based fine arts
residencies in public schools
(such as the Artists in the
Schools Program) or in private
schools, present professional
development workshops for teachers
and teaching artists, and/or
mentor teachers and emerging
teaching artists. The
eligibility requirements for
individual artists are: must be an
accomplished artist; must be a
legal resident of the state of
Hawai‘i; must NOT be enrolled in a
directly related undergraduate
degree program of study; and must
have a minimum of two years
experience working with students
in educational settings prior to
application.

submit a Letter
of Intent and a current resume
by June 28, 2013 to HSFCA.A
panel will review all of the letters
of intent and resumes.A
limited number of applicants will then
be invited to submit their full
application and to continue on with
