FAQ for Training Requirements


  1. I am not sure which position level I am.  How do I know which workshops to take?

  2. If I move to another position or another office do I have to take the workshops over again?

  3. If I am a Level 2 and my office never conducts, reviews or approves competitive sealed bids, do I still need to attend the workshops required for competitive sealed bids?

  4. If I attended the SPO Small Purchases workshop in 2007, do I need to attend it again? (It had a different number at that time.)

  5. Do I have to attend the Small Purchases Workshop  (No 120) if I am a secretary and only purchase items from the SPO price/vendor lists?

  11. Do I have to attend HePS User Training for Competitive Sealed Bids (HePS 301) if I never conduct, review or approve competitive sealed bids?

  12. Which HePS workshop do I need to attend if I haven't logged in for a while?

  13. Do I need to take HePS 100- Basic User Training in order to take HePS 301- User Training for Competitive Sealed Bids (IFBs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)?

  14. I see SPO is offering webinars.  What is a webinar and why is SPO offering them?
